At SenSpa, we approach the spa experience from a holistic perspective that cares for the “outer” issues by helping guests first address inner core health conditions. Our services go well beyond the scope of the traditional beauty-only treatments found in most day spas and begin with a totally integrated approach to well being.

The 13,000 square-foot building, built in 1917, is located in the breathtaking surroundings of the historic Presidio and is part of the main complex that is encircled by a lush 300-acre pine and cypress forest. It also looks out on the Palace of Fine Arts and the Golden Gate Bridge.

The spa offers 3 chic and luxuriously appointed lounge areas in which spa goers may linger including SenSpace, a cozy sitting area with a fireplace and SenSanctuary—a central lounge area that literally insulates guests from the outside world.

Distinctive features of the space include a water wall in the main entrance near the retail center, a modern cylinder-like floor-to-ceiling gas fireplace within the SenSpace sitting area.
