INTEGRATIVE ACUMASSAGE HEALING
Click here to link to a YouTube video of this treatment
A targeted acupuncture treatment designed to treat muscular or joint pain in a specific focused area of the body (NOTE: not a full body or relaxing spa treatment) that has resulted from workout injury, overuse, physical dysfunction, trauma, surgery, or degenerative disease. It is especially helpful for conditions for which lasting relief has been elusive, or failed to resolve from any single modality. Along with acupuncture, massage is performed and may be accompanied by cupping, gua sha, or moxibustion. These additional modalities further break up muscle tension, promote the movement of Qi and blood for optimal movement and function.
Forms will be sent out ahead of time to asses health history, insure privacy, and get informed consent. Questions will be asked at the beginning of the session to clarify the nature and location of the issue, and a quick physical exam will all help assess and determine the modalities used and order of treatment. Additional recommendations for self care, nutritional counseling, herbal remedies and supplements will also be made when appropriate.

MASTER - JORDAN LOWY is a licensed acupuncturist and massage therapist with over 20 years of clinical experience. His study and practice of the healing arts began as a personal journey to heal chronic digestive illness, and grew into a dedicated calling. His personal healing experience, combined with his many years of practice and study, gives him a practical perspective and understanding of the healing process. Jordan approaches each session with this knowledge, inquiring about and gaining an understanding of the unique needs and desires of each patient, and tailors each treatment to assist and direct you to achieve and maintain your optimum health.
BIOMECHANICAL SPORTS THERAPY
This targeted therapeutic session is designed for athletes, focusing on the body’s structure and musculature as they relate to sport-specific biomechanics. Each session aims to optimize performance, improve proprioception, and release myofascial restrictions to enhance range of motion and support injury recovery.
For example, a golfer’s biomechanics—address, backswing, downswing, and follow-through—places unique demands on the body. Repetitive rotation and postural imbalances can lead to issues such as back strain, shoulder or elbow pain, and joint instability.
This treatment begins with an assessment of your sport-specific movement patterns and areas of restriction, then customizes a treatment plan using techniques such as Sports Therapy, Deep Tissue, Myofascial Release, Thai Massage, Tui-Na, and Somatic Neuromuscular Release (SNR)—the primary method in Biomechanical Sports Therapy. SNR combines active and passive movement to release bound tissue, restore neuromuscular integrity, and improve overall function.
This service is not a relaxation massage. Sessions may reach the edge of pain tolerance, and temporary soreness or bruising can occur. Due to the nature of the therapeutic approach, the therapist may need to reposition themselves to better align with the line of force, which means they will occasionally need to get on and off the table. Post-session care includes R.I.C.E. (Rest, Ice, Compression, Elevation) or M.I.C.E. (Massage, Rest, Ice, Compression, Elevation) to minimize inflammation and support recovery.
The consent form must be signed ahead of time to assess health history, ensure privacy, and gather informed consent. At the start of the session, a short intake will clarify the nature of your symptoms, followed by a brief physical assessment to tailor the treatment to your specific needs.
